Victoria Hall has been serving Sheffield for over 250 years

Learn more about Sheffield’s original events venue from as far back as 1907

A long history of serving Sheffield's communities

Typical of a Methodist Central Hall, Victoria Hall was designed as a concert venue, with numerous rooms for social work, as well as centre of mission from as far back as 1908 when it reopened. Today, as well as being home to a number of key charities, Victoria Hall offers a number of rooms and halls to suit groups of a handful to hundreds of delegates to support events in the Main Hall or to hire as separate meeting rooms.

Home to local Sheffield charities and community groups

Holding your event at Victoria Hall means we can continue to support their good work.

Built as a church and events venue with additional rooms for training and social support, Victoria Hall is now home to some key Sheffield charities that help vulnerable people, so in booking a room here, you are supporting the work of these charities.

A hub for music

Built almost 20 years before the Sheffield City Hall, Victoria Hall has a history as the main city centre concert venue. We are proud to be ‘home’ to the Sheffield Philharmonic Orchestra, and to host a number of musical events throughout the year.

A venue with purpose

Victoria Hall is a hub of charitable organisations who support people in Sheffield and surrounding areas. All profit from events and bookings pays for essential running costs of the building which in turn supports these amazing charities, local businesses and communities.

Help us continue to support the community

Victoria Hall is home to The Sunday Centre, Assist, and a range of charitable organisations. We support them so they can help the people across Sheffield and South Yorkshire who need it most. By booking your event with us, you’re helping us to continue this good work.
